The Multi Mission Heroes arrived in the municipality of Apartadó, in the Urabá region, in Antioquia, to provide health services and recreation spaces for the most vulnerable communities, rebuilding social fabric.
Antioquia. For years, the hamlet of San José de Apartadó has been immersed in the armed conflict. The constant presence of the illegal armed groups, which sought the submission of the civilian population to satisfy their criminal interests, has left heavy consequences in the community.
The Colombian National Army, in fulfillment of its mission, seeks to protect the territory by means of the constant presence in the region to prevent that any action disturbs the tranquility of its inhabitants. In addition to providing security, the goal of the Multi mission Heroes is to contribute to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable populations through days that cover their unsatisfied basic needs.
