After the inter-institutional pursuit of the Army and Police, the individual decided to escape and abandon the narcotics.
Huila. Lights off and the omission to the signal of stop, made the soldiers of the Special Energy and Roads Battalion N ° 12 of the Ninth Brigade and units of the Police of the Department of Huila, to initiate the pursuit for a motorcyclist in the sector of the village Chorrillo, in the municipality El Pital.
The individual, feeling surrounded by the Public Force, decided to leave one package that he had in the tank of the motorcycle; nevertheless, the pursuit continued by the sector of the road to Tarqui, where the man decided to abandon the motorcycle and a bag.
In total, the units found 44 kilos of marijuana valued at 17,600,000 pesos, a shipment that, when distributed in doses, would become about 39,600 of doses.
According to preliminary investigations, the narcotic would have been originated in Cauca and its final destination would be the municipality of Florencia in Caquetá.
