Nariño. The Support Battalion of Comprehensive action and Development nº.3 continues its operation with the campaign "One Million Trees, One Million Lives", articulated with the program "Faith in Colombia", the company Empopasto, Corponariño and the Gobernación of the department.
This union works on an important day of preparation of the land for the environmental reforestation of the village of Buesaquillo, in San Juan de Pasto, projecting the future sowing of trees for the protection and conservation of the environment.
José Herrera, is a citizen of the city of Pasto who lives in this village. He and his family have witnessed the indiscriminate felling of trees and the way it hits the fauna and flora of the sector. For that reason, Mr. Herrera said: "I want to thank you for this beautiful task that you do, for this environmental day in our village that favors the whole community and its inhabitants. We hope this is not the only time and we hope you continue to make these activities for such a long time. "
For his part, the second sergeant Mauricio Alberto Robles Torres, said: "This campaign has as its ultimate goal the planting of one million trees in the different hamlets of the municipality of San Juan de Pasto.
