The capture is accused of committing various crimes such as drug trafficking, criminal intelligence, manufacturing, trafficking or carrying of weapons, forced displacement, among others.
Santander. Military operations conducted by troops of the Ricaurte Battalion of the Fifth Brigade, of the Second Division of the National Army, led to the capture of alias 'Bladimir', presumed member of the Armed Group “Clan del Golfo", in the urban sector of San Alberto, in the department of Cesar.
This individual, 26, had entered the structure in 2012 as a logistical collaborator of the gang “Los Urabeños,” when alias 'Mateo' and alias 'Niche' arrived from Urabá in order to encourage illicit plantations in the south of the department of the Cesar. Later in 2013, due to the mobility that the group had in the municipality of San Alberto and nearby hamlets, he began to carry out urban recruitments.
In the same way, alias 'Bladimir' is said to participate in the disappearance of two people in the village of Cedros in 2014 and to put pressure on coca leaf growers to continue with illicit plantations in this region.
With this capture the Organized Armed Group is hit in the capacity to carry out activities of drug trafficking, forced displacement, trafficking, manufacture and carrying of firearms and conspiracy to commit a crime, in the municipalities of San Alberto, in the south of Cesar and in the rural area of La Esperanza in Norte de Santander.
