Cauca. Alias "Uberney", head of a residual organized armed group of FARC “Front 30”, responsible for the purchase and shipment of alkaloids in the Naya and Micay rivers in the department of Cauca, to send them to Central America, was captured by the troops of the National Navy in Puerto Merizalde, rural area of Buenaventura in the Valle del Cauca.
After a rigorous follow-up, during his capture he stated that his identity documents had been lost and he did not know the number, at the time of the search arifle with his magazine and 16 cartridges was found.
The troops of the Pacific Naval Force moved him to the port of Buenaventura, where he was put into custody of the authorities. After the respective revision, it was ratified that he was Uberney Nuñez, 35, current head of an organized armed group of the FARC, the “Front 30” that commits crimes on the Naya and Micay rivers; buying, collecting and sending cocaine hydrochloride and coca paste to countries in Central America.
In his criminal record, he is found guilty of committing crimes since 2013 and in 2017 in the Front 30 of the FARC, as a member of the Micay River Commission. Under the orders of alias "Duban", leader of this commission, he conducted extortion, drug trafficking activities and money collection as a result of the extortion of boats in the area.
With the capture of this man, the logistics and financial structure of this residual organized armed group of then Front 30 of the Farc is weakened.
