Bolivar. In a military search and control operation, the National Navy, in coordination with the National Police and the Technical Corps of Investigation (CTI), captured in Bolívar a woman who was in charge of extortion in the Colombian Caribbean.
The operation was carried out in the urban area of El Carmen de Bolívar, where troops of the Military Gaula Bolívar of the National Navy, the Police Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) captured a 31-year-old woman, who had an arrest warrant for the crime of aggravated extortion.
The extortionist, who committed offenses in the departments of Bolívar, Sucre and Atlántico, managed to extort 30 million pesos each month; she was put into custody of the Local Prosecutor's Office 52 in Cartagena.
