More than 180 grandparents in vulnerable condition received comprehensive assistance with the purpose of improving their living conditions.
Thanks to an initiative of the Heroes of the Bicentenary of the Artillery Battalion No. 13, attached to the 13th Brigade of the National Army, with the support of Professional Officers of the Reserve, the private company and the community of the Sisters of Visitation, this activity took place to provide basic food for 180 elderly people in the municipality of Usme, in the south of Bogotá.
The main effort was to distribute the basic food baskets and provide a breakfast to the invited, who came one by one from different sectors of the municipality, to enjoy a space of integration, joy and humanitarian assistance; at the end of the activity they thanked with a smile and a hug the noble operation of the heroes of the country.
