In a coordinated military operation, troops of the Second Division, the taxes and Customs Police and Highways Police, find a huge illegal hideout of hydrocarbons in the hamlet El Juncal, in the municipality of Aguachica, in the department of Cesar.
By means of intelligence information, the troops arrived at the site where the existence of nine illegal fuel hideouts was reported. Initially they proceeded to the destruction of 26 houses where the hydrocarbon was stored; they found 13,640 gallons of DIESEL of contraband.
With this blow, the organized crime groups are hit by an approximate cost of 94 million pesos that will not get into the subsystem of finances of these illegal organizations.
The Bicentenary Heroes of the Fifth Brigade maintain their commitment in the fight against the factors that attack against the security of the citizens, since illegal hideouts like these represent a danger for the population surrounding this sector even for those who handle this flammable liquid.
