One of the family members said that these illegal groups did not led them to carry out their agricultural work, and they were constantly intimidated; they were forced to abandon their lands.
The National Navy gave them humanitarian support, transporting them by sea, and accompanying this family to the Public Prosecutor's Office, immediately activating the route of restoration of their rights, which lead them to receive food assistance, home and health, as well as guaranteeing their safety.
Citizens are invited to denounce, in the 24-hour toll-free line, any criminal operation executed by outlaw armed groups that attempt to generate terror among the civilian population. Military forces reaffirm their institutional commitment to the population of the Colombian Pacific.
