Blows against the criminal structures that commit crimes in the department of Arauca continue to be conducted after the military operations carried out by the troops of the Quirón Task Force in coordination with the Attorney General's Office, the Technical Investigation Corps and the National Police.
Making effective a search warrant in the Porvenir neighborhood of the municipality of Arauca, alias “Mono” and three other people, including a woman, were captured for the crime of trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms and for the crime of manufacture, traffic or possession of narcotic substances.
In addition, in the place troops found a revolver caliber 32 mm, a 9 mm pistol with different cartridges, a knife, a precision scale, 141 grams of coca base, 163 grams of marijuana and approximately five hundred thousand pesos in cash ($ 500,000).
Those captured who appear to be part of the network of support of the residual structure, GAO-R Primera Structure, along with elements, were put into custody of the authorities for their respective judicial process, while the Military Units of the Eighteenth Brigade continue carrying out a wide operation in this area of the country to dismantle and stop the different crimes in the region.
