The denunciation of the disappearance of Mr. Iván Londoño Leal, made to the Office of the Public Prosecutor of Medellín on the last February first, subsequently sent to the Special Prosecutor's Office No. 53, launched the respective investigation work by members of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in support of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), who later found the dead body of the victim on the seventh day of the same month.
In territorial control operations, the two institutions continued to conduct the corresponding investigations, making possible to put into custody of the authorities, the two stewards of the farm La Enea of the deceased grower, who would be the alleged responsible for the events. The individuals will have to face charges for the crime of forced disappearance and aggravated homicide.
The capture took place in the city of Cartagena in the Nelson Mandela neighborhood. The crimes imputed to the two individuals occurred after investigations, eyewitness accounts and evidence material that would confirm the participation of both individuals.
Troops found five cell phones, which are subject of investigation of the Office of the Prosecutor.
