Foreign affairs Minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo and the Commander of the Military Transport Air Command, CATAM, Brigadier General Luís Carlos Córdoba Avendaño, welcomed the President of Panama, Juan Carlos Varela, who was received with military honors upon his arrival at CATAM, on an official visit of two days in Colombia.
In this opportunity, the president will meet with his Colombian counterpart, Iván Duque Márquez, at the House of Nariño, where they will hold two meetings to which delegations from both nations will attend and then give statements to the media, and agreements will be signed on binational cooperation, according to information on the website of the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia.
At the close of the official visit, the two Presidents will meet with businessmen. Thus Colombia and Panama strengthen their relationships through dialogue in dealing with issues related to the well-being of border communities, security and trade, a statement highlighted by Mr. Holmes Trujillo.
