In the framework of the "Victoria Plus" Campaign Plan, the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 16, of the Joint Task Force Titan, managed to find an illegal hideout with 583 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, in the hamlet known as Pinorroa, in the municipality of Acandí, in the department of Chocó.
The integration and exchange of information led the units of the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 16, with the support of the Urabá Coast Guard Station, achieved the discovery of 10 bags, which contained 500 packages, inside a clandestine depot.
The shipment was taken to Turbo - Antioquia, where the judicial authorities carried out the Preliminary Identification Test which resulted positive for 583 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
It is estimated that the value of this shipment of narcotics, in the international black market, is about 20 million dollars, figure that thanks to this successful operation, will not enter the finances of the illegal groups.
