Alias 'Jainover' or 'El Tigre', would be involved in the attack perpetrated on the civilian population and the National Army on May 2, 2019, in the municipality of Uribe, in the department of Meta, where seven people were injured.
In the rural area of the hamlet Jardín de Peña in the municipality Mesetas, in the department of Meta, in military operations framed in the Bicentenary Plan, troops of the Infantry Battalion No.29 “General Gustavo Ocampo Herrera”, in inter-institutional support with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, captured alias 'Jainover' or 'El Tigre', ringleader of the support network of Structure 40 and a trusted man by alias 'Calarcá', leader of this organized armed group.
He is accused of being in charge of collecting large sums of money resulting from extortion in the hamlets of Jardín de Peña, Alto Gobernador, Colinas y Cafetales, in the municipality of Mesetas, in Meta. With his capture, this criminal organization loses a fundamental axis in criminal intelligence activities for the realization of terrorist operations against the civilian population, the critical infrastructure of the nation and the Security forces.
This delinquent would have participated in several attacks perpetrated against the civilian population and the Security forces, such as the ambush carried out on January 17, 2018 in the village Bajo Andes against the National Police, leaving six police officers injured. On January 26, 2018, he participated in the burning of a vehicle belonging to the company Flota La Macarena, in the village of Muriba. Later by the months of November and December of 2018 he took part in two terrorist operations against the Security forces in the municipality of La Uribe, making part of the criminal intelligence in order to materialize the operation.
His most recent criminal operation was reported on May 2 in the urban area of Uribe, where seven people were injured, including a minor of age, a non-commissioned officer and a soldier.
The individual was put into custody of the Special Prosecutor's Office No.114 of Villavicencio, in Meta, for the crime of extortion, rebellion, terrorism and conspiracy to commit a crime.
