In operations conducted against the organizations that perpetrate drug trafficking, Units of the Navy of Colombia, find 198.60 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, in an illegal hideout, as well as 0.602 kilograms of marijuana, two ships, two engines and communications equipment, on the coast line, in the municipality of Acandí, in the department of Chocó.
The integration and exchange of information led by Units of the Infantry Battalion No. 16, operationally attached to the Joint Task Force Titan, and the Urabá Coast Guard Station, led to the finding of six sacks that contained 148 packages wrapped in black plastic, hidden in a bunker-type hideout, as well as the discovery of a package of marijuana, two motorboats, two outboard motors and communications equipment.
The judicial authorities carried out the Preliminary Identification Test - Piph, to the shipment in municipality of Turbo, in the department of Antioquia, to confirm the 198.60 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 0.602 kilograms of Creepy-type marijuana.
With this large loss of alkaloid, the finances of drug trafficking organizations linked to the "Clan del Golfo", which commit crimes in this region of the country, will not receive about seven million dollars, an estimated value of this shipment of narcotics in the international black market.
The material found was put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office of Turbo, in the department of Antioquia.
