In a joint operation of the Colombian Navy and the National Army, it was possible to find 173 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and capture two individuals in the department of Chocó.
During control and fluvial surveillance in the Atrato River, troops of the Infantry Battalion No.16 attached to the Joint Task Force Titan, reported a ship that sailed near Ríosucio - Chocó, in which two individuals transported several packages with characteristics similar to cocaine hydrochloride and one million pesos in cash.
The material and the two individuals were taken to the facilities of the Battalion in Turbo, in the department of Antioquia, where the Preliminary Identification Test left positive result for 173 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, whose value in the European black market exceeds 10 million dollars.
Those captured were put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office 15, Ríosucio Section, for their judicial process.
