The explosive, which was a threat to the wellbeing conditions of the peasants who live and travel along this road, was found by the soldiers of this unit, who maintain a constant search in these areas of the country in order to prevent any attack by the residual GAO, which hits the civilian population.
The device was made with a 40-pound metallic gas cylinder, an electric ignition and activation system. It was detonated under controlled conditions by the Exde group (Explosives and Demolition Team) at the site.
