Currently the EMAVI has 417 students and 153 teachers.
Valle del Cauca. The Military School of Aviation "Marco Fidel Suárez" obtained the Institutional Accreditation in High Academic Quality, an important recognition by the National Accreditation Council (CNA) which positions it among the 50 institutions of higher education in the country among 348 existing in Colombia.
Taking into account the high professional level achieved by the officers who have graduated from the Alma Mater of the Colombian Air Force, which was further strengthened thanks to the first recognition in 'High Quality Education' received by the Aeronautical Administration program in July 2008, On February 13, 2017 the Directives take the decision to present the letter of will to the ANC (in Spanish), to institutionally accredit the Military School of Aviation.
According to Brigadier General Carlos Fernando Silva Rueda, Director of the Military School of Aviation (EMAVI), the Institutional Accreditation in High Academic Quality is a public acknowledgment made by the State to an institution or a program for its 'High quality'.
