The General Directorate of Militar Health led by its director, Major General Javier Alonso Díaz Gómez, representatives of the Health and the Group of Planning and Institutional Development, participated in the Health Forum and 26th Pharmaceutical Forum held by the National Association de of entrepreneurs de Colombia, ANDI, held in Cartagena de Indias.
This Health Forum is a space that brings together all health actors around the topics of greatest interest of the system that was attended by local and international participants, general managers, presidents and managers of clinics, hospitals, laboratories, insurers, marketers, technology producers, logistics operators, government, academy, entrepreneurs, and media, among others.
Experts spoke on topics such as: Medical innovation, self-care, risk management, collaboration conducted by agents, value-based health systems, the Model of Comprehensive Health Care and of course the sustainability challenges within the framework of the National Plan of Development and the End Point Agreement. It is an opportunity to address the most important issues for the health sector and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as an ideal space, with more than 1,400 attendees, for networking of the public and private sectors.
In this way, knowledge is updated for the implementation of better services for the more than 670,000 users of the Military Forces Health Subsystem.
