With a differential capacities training, the Special Forces Operations Units Course No. 143 and 144 was closed at the Military Fort of Tolemaida. They are men who from now on are part of the selected Minority in the Colombian Military Forces.
The Special Forces Operations Units course, CUOES in Spanish, has a duration of three months. Its demand and complexity help students to specialize in the Lanceros school with irregular combat techniques, aerial skills, with the Skydiving School, water combat survival with the Tactical training and recurrent Training School, they carried out air assault techniques in the School of Air Assault and finally, in the School of Special Forces, they are prepared in techniques, tactics and procedures of Special Forces, with the purpose of enable them to participate in the planning, preparation and execution of military operations adapted to any operational environment.
Thus, in the middle of a military ceremony, 97 students of the course were awarded by Colonel Walther Adrián Girado Jiménez, commander of CENAE, along with Lieutenant Colonel Carlos Eduardo Amariles Sánchez, commander of the School of Special Forces, ESFES, and Commanders of the units of Tolemaida, with the three badges that show they are new Special Operators, brave commandoes that with pride for their achievements, become the well-known 'Honor Guard of Colombia.
