249 explosive devices have been destroyed from 2016 to date, in the department of Tolima.
So far this year, soldiers of the Humanitarian Demining Engineers Battalion No. 2 have managed to clear 49,820 square meters of the department of Tolima, in the municipalities of Planadas, Rioblanco, Dolores, Chaparral, Ortega, Roncesvalles, Rovira, Cajamarca and Ibagué, whose work is progressing.
There are more than 15 demining units, which work centimeter by centimeter to find and destroy the threat that may put the lives and physical condition of hundreds of Colombians at risk.
