This individual is part of the most wanted criminals in the department of Bolívar; he has a current arrest warrant for extortion crimes, conspiracy to commit a crime, aggravated homicide and illegal carrying of firearms.
In development of joint, coordinated and inter-institutional operations, troops of the National Army, National Police, National Navy and Office of the Attorney General of the Nation, following the recommendation of early warning No. 005 of 2020, captured a man accused of being alias “Fulgencio,” apparently belonging to the Zuley Guerra substructure of the Clan del Golfo.
The military operation was carried out thanks to information provided by the Civic Participation Network, which warns about the presence of the man in the Santa Clara municipality, Montería municipality, in the department of Córdoba, the place where the Army and National Police made the apprehension.
Alias “Fulgencio,” 29, who would have been in the criminal organization for approximately five years, would be working as a hitman and chief of finances, with interference in the municipalities of the coastal zone and Lorica, in the department of Córdoba, as well as in Cartagena, Bolívar. In addition, he is accused of extortion and drug trafficking.
With these decisive operations, a strategic impact is achieved that weakens the finances and planning capacity of the Zuley Guerra substructure of the Clan del Golfo, neutralizing terrorist operations and illegal activities.
