Thanks to the sustained effort against drug trafficking, it was possible to find, prosecute and destroy 14 infrastructures used to process cocaine base paste, in a rural area of the municipalities of San José del Palmar and Condoto, in the department of Chocó.
In the same way, more than 2,700 gallons of liquid precursors and almost 1,000 kilos of solid precursors were found, 155 kilos of macerated coca leaf, 02 clock scales, 01rudimentary press and 01 precision scale, among other elements used in the illicit manufacture of drugs, were found.
This operation was carried out jointly by the Colombian Air Force, through the Air Combat Command No. 5 and the National Army and in coordination with the Antinarcotics Directorate of the National Police.
The mission was carried out within the Comprehensive Strategy against Drug Trafficking, with the aim of decisively hit the illicit drug system and illegal activities in this area of the country.
