The Omega Joint Task Force, with all its components (land, River and air) will guarantee a historic meeting conducted by the mayors of the municipalities of La Macarena, Herminso Cárdenas Montealegre and San Vicente Del Caguán, Julián Alfredo Perdomo, in the sector that has been the center of borders dispute between the Departments of Meta and Caquetá.
The event aims to join efforts that involve the presence of the State in the region and invest resources in Impact works, with which the unmet basic needs of the community are to be met.
This unit of the military forces conducts security support operations in the area agreed by the two local leaders, which strengthens the institutions and contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of the people living in the region.
