Within the framework of the unified operation of the State, the Colombian Navy and national government institutions carried out a health and wellbeing activity aimed at about 200 people in the municipality of Vesuvio, in the Municipality of San Estanislao de Kostka, in Bolivar.
Crew members of Navy Battalion No.12, the Government of Bolivar, the Municipal Mayor's Office, the E. S. E. San Estanislao, the Human Management Foundations, Mujeres en ruta por la Paz, and the departmental Institute of sport and recreation of Bolivar –IDERBOL-, reached the community of Mango Púa II, where primary care services were provided in general and Internal Medicine, the specialties of Optometry, Gynecology, vaccination; in the same way tests to detect COVID-19 carrying out, benefiting approximately 270 people in the Colombian Caribbean.
Similarly, donations were distributed including Biosecurity kits to prevent the spread of COVID-19, 1,450 units of liquid Bienestarina (food supplement) and 125 units of powder Bienestarina (food supplement) to strengthen the nutrition of children under 10 years old, who in the same way received presents during recreational activities.
In order to publicize the services offered by the State and inform all the inhabitants of the department about the programs conducted by the national government agencies, information was provided on the system of identification of potential beneficiaries of social programs –SISBEN - and the route of care established to provide support for cases of gender violence.
