In a timely operation, soldiers of the Thirteenth brigade came to the village of Curubital to provide support for the emergency caused after heavy rains reported over the weekend.
Soldiers of the Artillery Battalion No.13 Fernando Landazábal Reyes, provided support to several families of the village Curubital in the locality of Usme south of Bogotá, who were hit by the overflow of the Piedras Gordas stream, as a result of the heavy rains that are reported in the capital of the country.
Soldiers came to the scene to support more than 30 families who lost belongings and appliances in the midst of the emergency caused by a landslide, which in the same way structurally hit at least eight houses and made road access to the village difficult.
The National Army through the thirteen Brigade works, not only works for security, but in the same way to provide support for any situation or natural event that endangers the lives of the inhabitants of the center of the country.
