Under strict biosecurity protocols, the Comprehensive Action of the National Army and its program Fe en Colombia (Faith in Colombia), contribute to the strengthening of the municipality Development Programs with a Territorial Approach –PEDET–.
With a particular version of Papá Noel (Santa Claus), soldiers of the Cavalry Battalion General Hermógenes Maza No. 5, of the Thirtieth Brigade, arrived to the village of San Roque in the municipality of Sardinata, in Norte de Santander, where house to house distributed a Christmas present to its inhabitants. In addition, the soldiers planted more than 60 trees that in the future will provide shade to the main park of this village.
The activity also had the participation of fashion entrepreneurs and beauty academies who decided to contribute to the construction of a better country, providing their services in a personalized way, following all biosecurity measures.
Besides, the activity was attended by professional Reserve Officers and the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Battalion No. 2, who -thanks to institutional coordination-, provided advice on legal issues, ventures for small producers and hand in hand with the Community Operation Board conducted an embellishment activity in the central square of the San Roque village.
With these operations, the Second Division of the National Army, ratifies its commitments to the strengthening and development of the municipalities of Catatumbo (which are prioritized in the PEDET project), and will continue conducting this type of operations that will always have, as main objective, the benefit of civilians.
