At the site, 200 kilograms of chopped coca leaf and about 150 kilos of chemical supplies -necessary for the production of cocaine- were found.
Through military territorial control operations, troops of the Joint Task Force Marte, found in rural area of the municipality of Simití, south of Bolivar, a coca-based paste production laboratory that would belong to the Héroes y Mártires de Santa Rosa Front of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) ELN
Inside this illegal structure, found in a wooded area of El Paraíso village, troops found 200 kilograms of chopped coca leaf, 200 kilograms of gray cement, 80 kilograms of potassium permanganate and 25 gallons of sulfuric acid, elements used for the production of the drug.
In the same way, 27 metal barrels, a scale, a hydraulic press and a scythe were seized.
Thus the Military Forces still dealing blows against the illegal finances of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) ELN, which commits crimes in this area of the country.
