The National Army reaches places where families in the region have been hit by high temperatures in recent days, which generate shortages of water.
Troops of the Fifth Brigade of the National Army of the Second Division reached the village of Nuevo Mundo, in the municipality of San Vicente de Chucurí, in coordination with the local government, delivered about 2,500 gallons of water to the families that have been hit by the lack of this liquid. In this operation, more than 1,350 people in the sector have been benefited.
High temperatures generate emergencies in the department, which have had timely response by the National Army through its men and resources. The National Army is an important institutional ally that support the inhabitants of the region.
With water tank trucks, the soldiers reached other municipalities like Curití to bring this vital resource to the homes in Santander that do not have a conventional aqueduct system.
In this way, the Fifth Brigade of the National Army reaffirms its commitment to Colombians who expect and trust the institution to solve the basic needs that guarantee a better quality of life.
