In a joint operation with the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the Colombian Navy, coordinated with the DIJIN and SIJIN (judicial police) of the National Police, and interagency with the Attorney General's Office, captured two criminals in the department of Vichada, who were accused of belonging to the José Daniel Pérez Carrero front of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) ELN.
The first operation was carried out near the farm La Gaitana, in the village of Buena Vista, in the municipality of La Primavera, Vichada, where alias El Perro was captured. The second operation was carried out in the farm Yamaral, in the municipality of Cumaribo, where it was possible to capture alias El Bigote.
The captured individuals were put into custody of the authorities for the crimes of forced displacement, drug trafficking and conspiracy to commit crimes. In addition, they would have been in charge of carrying out criminal intelligence to the Military Forces.
