After a joint and coordinated operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the Colombian Navy and the National Police, two members of the Heroes del Caribe substructure of the organized armed group, Gao, Clan del Golfo, were neutralized.
After the joint work that the authorities have been conducting in the Montes de María region, south of Bolivar, an operation was carried out by the Colombian Air Force, the Colombian Navy and the National Police, which resulted in the neutralization of alias Felipe and alias Zarco, who had arrest warrants for association to commit crimes.
This operation had joint work in which the Colombian Air Force deployed monitoring and surveillance aircraft, which complemented the work of the Colombian Navy infantry troops and units of the National Police, managing to hit this substructure of the organized armed group Clan del Golfo, with these neutralizations and the finding of war material and military accessories.
