With this surrender to justice, the plans of this organized armed group to retake the areas left by Farc, in the departments of Putumayo and Amazonas, are neutralized.
Thanks to the permanent operation of the Military Forces against the residual organized armed groups, GAO-r, in the Department of Putumayo together with the work carried out by naval intelligence, it was possible the surrender of alias Cerillo, ringleader of the finance group of the residual GAO Estructura Primera Carolina Ramírez.
Alias Cerillo or Jeferson was head of the Finance Group of the structure Carolina Ramírez, right hand of the individual known by the alias Alonso 45, who currently conducts security functions, in addition to establishing strategic alliances with the GAO residual structure 62 Miller Perdomo, in order to consolidate the routes for drug trafficking on the Caquetá River to Brazil.
This guy belonged to the former front 48 of the Farc and had been delinquent for about 20 years. He in the same way controlled extortion against the commercial sector, public and river transport companies in Puerto Leguízamo. Currently, he has open proceedings in the Attorney General's Office for the crimes of terrorism, association to commit crimes and homicide.
Along with Alias Cerillo, a minor of 17 years appeared before the troops attached to the river Battalion of Navy Infantry no.33, in the municipality La Tagua, in Puerto Leguízamo. The child was handed over to the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing – ICBF, for the restoration of his rights.

With the surrender of alias Cerillo, the residual organized armed group Estructura Primera Carolina Ramírez, loses the ability to collect funds from drug trafficking, collect money from “vaccines” (extortions) and extortion against merchants in the region, as well as the recruitment of minors and the acquisition of military equipment and military accessories.
