More than 300 people settled along the road leading from the city of Riohacha to the municipality of Maicao, benefited from health services, medicines distribution, drinking water and Recreation.
In the municipality of Manaure, La Guajira, troops of the Infantry Battalion No.6 with support from Comprehensive Action and development Battalion No.1 and professional Officers of the Reserve of the tenth brigade carried out a development support activity in the Aremashain Indigenous community.
During the event, care was provided in dentistry, tests to detect COVID-19 virus were carried out and medicines were distributed according to medical prescription; in addition clothing for women was distributed.
The activity was carried out thanks to the coordination conducted by the National Army, a Security and Protection Company and the Water Company ASAA, which distributed about 10,000 liters of drinking water, which will supply these people with this liquid in order to alleviate the drought in the region.
Similarly, and under all biosecurity protocols, the soldiers of the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Battalion No.1 they carried out recreation activities, where children and adolescents could enjoy a different time and healthy recreation.
