The three individuals were put in prison.
The individuals identified by the aliases Kiko, Ojo and Indio were arrested by units of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Huila and its CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) component in the municipalities of Garzón and Campoalegre, Huila.
These three people, who apparently would be part of a common criminal group, had an arrest warrant for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possessing firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition along with forced displacement.
The facts that motivated the investigation were reported on April 5, 2020, when apparently the individuals, through death threats and intimidation, had motivated the forced displacement of a married couple and their two children in the Islas del Sol settlement, in the municipality of Campoalegre, Huila.
The individuals, who had initiated the threats since January 2020, used firearms, bladed weapons and blunt objects such as stones to pressure the displacement of the family.
