The operation led to the immobilization of a vehicle and the arrest of two individuals who would be transporting the drug would cost approximately 30 million pesos.
In compliance with Operation José Inocencio Chincá, and through coordinated work conducted by the National Army and the National Police, it was possible to find 12.4 kilograms of coca base paste, at a checkpoint on kilometer 1, of the road that leads from the municipality of Florencia to the department of Huila.
Thanks to the community information and intelligence work carried out by the troops; they conducted the inspection of a vehicle of collective passenger transport, an interdepartmental bus, which brought hidden 11 packages of a substance which would be coca base paste.
During the operation the vehicle was immobilized and two individuals were arrested, who would be responsible for transporting the drug that would cost approximately 30 million pesos. The vehicle, the arrested individuals and the drugs were put into custody of the authorities to continue their judicial process.
Once again, the Twelve Brigade of the Sixth Division manages to hit the illicit finances and revenues of the organized armed groups, which in alliance with drug traffickers and local criminal structures conduct the trafficking and commercialization of hallucinogens in the department of Caquetá and the Amazonas region.
