The National Army used all its resources to continue working for security in the municipality of Tibú, Norte de Santander.
In military control operations, soldiers of the Second Division of the National Army stay in the rural area of the municipality of Tibú, and, thus, protect civilians who are beaten by criminal operations that seek to alter the tranquility.
With the arrival of four ASV armored vehicles and two platoons of soldiers highly trained in special operations, the military units stationed in the municipality of Tibú establish tactical tasks, to sustain military operations against fully identified targets that disturb the security of the inhabitants of Tibuya.
It is in the same way intended to increase the different checkpoints and security in the area, thereby promoting the reduction of factors of instability, such as extortion, kidnapping and drug trafficking in both the rural area and the urban area of the municipality of Tibú.
