Zones of water obstructions were identified in overflights by the Colombian Air Force carried out in the municipality of Calvario, Meta, specifically near the municipality of Monfort, on the Guatiquía River, after deploying a surveillance and reconnaissance mission of areas at risk to contribute to early warnings and measures to be studied by the Departmental Directorate for Disaster Risk Management.
The important mission was carried out in a UH-60 aircraft, in which the crews of the Air Combat Command No.2, make the search in these places hit by phenomena of mass removal, finding thus, two slight obstructions and a critical point caused by a slide in the canyon and that, apparently, would be the reason why the riverbed has decreased despite the heavy rains that have been reported.
The images collected were distributed to the staff of the military intelligence of CACOM2, for which the non-commissioned officers are experts and make analysis of the images and subsequently distributed the package of photos, videos and comments found to the authorities to execute the corresponding operations according to procedures.
