In the last few hours, in the municipality of La Florida, municipality of El Retorno, department of Guaviare, troops of the Jungle Infantry Battalion No. 24 General Luis Carlos Camacho Leyva engaged a fight with those who would be guarding the laboratory where cocaine hydrochloride was produced. In the same way, in the place were found by troops 3 microwave ovens, a hydraulic press, 2 precision scales, a AC transformer, 2 electric pumps, 2 distillation tower, 4 tanks with chemicals for the production of the drug, more than 1400 gallons of DIESEL, 200 gallons of coca base in process and 100 gallons of butane, among other elements with which the cocaine would be processed.
The laboratory was built with handcrafted wood on three levels: one level with chemical elements, another with coca base paste and another that would function as a preparation area.
The elements found would cost more than 600 million pesos, with which they would be producing a ton of cocaine hydrochloride per month, valued at approximately 10,000 million pesos.
Those arrested as well as the material found were given to the authorities.
