In the last two weeks, the soldiers of the Thirteen Brigade work against drug trafficking in the south of the country and have hit the operations and finances of the criminal groups.
Soldiers of Artillery Battalion No.13 General Fernando Landazábal Reyes, operationally attached to the Twenty-Seventh Brigade, find and subsequently destroy four laboratories for the production of coca base paste, in the villages of Villa Marquesa and La Pedregosa, in the municipality of Puerto Asís, in the department of Putumayo.
During the operations were found by troops 615 gallons of coca base in process, 760 kilos of coca leaf, 66 kilos of ammonium sulfate, 300 gallons of gasoline, scales, scythes and barrels, among other elements, used for the production of this illegal substance.
