In an operation sent from the city of Ibagué, Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Tolima and the attorney’s office, troops arrived in Caquetá to obtain the arrest of alias Boris and alias El Flaco.
Soldiers of the Military Gaula of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, the Colombian Air Force and the office of the Prosecutor General of the Nation, achieve the arrest of the right-hand of alias Gentil Duarte. It is Boris Bohórquez known as Boris, along with alias El Flaco, in the municipalities of San Vicente de Caguán and Florencia in the department of Caquetá, these men were in charge of supplying the dissidents groups of the Farc or residual Organized Armed Groups, GAO-r, with war material for the exclusive use of the Military Forces, especially in the south of Tolima, specifically the Front Ismael Ruiz.
Thanks to military intelligence information it was known that alias Boris, was contacted by men of alias El Viejo or Gentil Duarte, in order to coordinate the delivery of war material, which he had lost after the bombing on this residual GAO in March of this year.
Within the result there is the arrest of alias Boris, right hand of Gentil Duarte and member of the structure for more than 20 years, where he would have been responsible for being, in 2000, Chief of militia of the support network of the Column Teófilo Forero Castro, being the right-hand of alias Chaparro, in 2006, Coordinator of logistics of the Column Teófilo Forero Castro and in the front Felipe Rincon in the municipality of San Vicente del Caguán, Caquetá. In 2014, he was identified by the Mobile Brigade No.19, from that moment he became a renowned merchant, front man of Teófilo Forero; in 2017 he did not accept the peace process.
Currently, he is the main coordinator and direct liaison with the armed part of the GAO residual Structure Jorge Briceño of the First front under the orders of Gentil Duarte.
In this operation it was possible to find abundant war material, among them rifle accessories, 10 firing pins, 10 weapons manuals, 15 rifle pushpins, 15 12mm cartridges, springs and parts to arm magazines, 10 pins for pistol, a traumatic pistol, magazines and 20 cartridges for this weapon, four cell phones, two laptops, seven compasses, a Garmin GPS and eight metal detectors.
The two men were given to the 11th Prosecutor's Office, Special Directorate Against Criminal Organizations, for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes, trafficking, manufacture and carrying of firearms and illicit possession.
