During three simultaneous operations against environmental crimes, units of the Colombian Navy find 180 wooden slats that were being transported without the documentation required for transport in the department of Sucre.
The first operation was carried out in the Arroyo Seco and La Piche sectors in the municipality of Tolú Viejo, where troops of the Navy Infantry Battalion No. 14 in coordination with National Police units, find 120 cedar-like wooden blocks at a ground checkpoint.
In the same way, in simultaneous operations in the municipalities of Colosó and Ovejas, it was possible to find 60 blocks of wood, which were being transported without having the respective documents and environmental licenses for their use.
The material found was put into custody of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Sucre.
