Thanks to the management of the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Seventh Brigade of the National Army, it was possible to arrive with a large State services, benefiting 350 people from vulnerable communities in the municipality of San Martín, Meta.
The National Army arrived at the municipality El Merey, in San Martin, Meta. The soldiers arrived in the town ready to give the best of themselves and their military vocation to the service of the Colombians who need it most.
This activity was joined by people from different institutions that seek to provide their Resources and knowledge to the people of the department of Meta; among these were the Association of Student Doctors of Meta, the Antonio Nariño University and many more professionals who believe that it is possible to build a better country.
The municipality of El Merey, is found in a rural area of the municipality and due to its geographical location, it makes it difficult for its inhabitants to leave, in addition, most of them are people in a situation of vulnerability who do not have the resources to access health, legal and recreational services.
From very early on, adults and children attended the invitation and participated in the wide range of services: general medicine, dentistry, optometry, speech therapy, psychology, hairdressing service and recreation.
At the end of the activity, a positive report was presented, since 350 inhabitants of these people benefited, consolidating the effort in the infants and in their development with evaluations of general medicine. In the same way, they received the medical treatments formulated by the health professionals.
The National Army will continue to lead these efforts for the most vulnerable civilians of the department of Meta, carrying out activities that improve the quality of life of our inhabitants, and in this way getting into the heart of the civilians, reaffirming the commitment to our eastern Plains families.
