Thanks to this finding, it was possible to prevent losses, injuries, or damages to the inhabitants of the municipality of Puerto Siare, in Mapiripán, Meta, due to this improvised explosive device, allegedly planted in the place to hit the troops.
Soldiers of the National Army, during military operations in the sector, reported the neutralization of an improvised explosive, which thanks to the expertise of the canine binomial was found in a wooded area near a house, in the municipality of Puerto Siare in the municipality of Mapiripán, Meta.
After the review of this explosive, it was determined that it was a gas cylinder-type device that had an electric initiation system; once the procedure was carried out and reviewed by the EXDE explosives and demolitions team, it proceeded to controlled detonation.
These operations by these outlaw groups violate Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.
