The Joint Task Force for Stabilization and Consolidation Hercules, in development of a joint military operation, conducted by the National Army and the Colombian Air Force and interinstitutional with the Attorney General's Office, in the municipality of Sindagua, municipality of Llorente, district of Tumaco, Nariño, reported the arrest in flagrante of six members of the residual Organized Armed Group Urías Rondón structure, the recovery of five minors, who had been forcibly recruited, and the finding of abundant war material and military accessories.
In the military operation, troops of the Rapid Deployment Force N° 2, after engage a combat against members of this structure, reported the apprehension of these individuals, who were taken under strict security measures to the urban area of the district of Tumaco so that the respective judicial processes are realized.
During the operation, five minors were recovered, who were put into custody of the Colombian institute of Family Wellbeing in order to restore their rights.
According to military intelligence information, this structure under the criminal command of the ringleader alias Oscar or Barreto, would be generating confrontations for the control of drug trafficking against members of the so-called Oliver Sinisterra structures and the Ivan Ríos Front of the FARC dissidents and would be preparing a terrorist operation to hit the tranquility of electoral activity in this region of the country.
