During the whole day the Colombian Air Force worked in the Puerto Las Mercedes village, in Solano, municipality of Caquetá, where more than 400 people arrived to receive medical attention from various specialists. During the activity the children of the village received school kits, clothes and games.
In a joint work of the Colombian Air Force in the Air Combat Command N.6, CACOM-6, and the National Navy, approached the inhabitants of the Puerto Las Mercedes settlement and other nearby villages, with the support of the Mayor's Office of Solano, a municipality near the village.
During the activity of approaching the inhabitants, the work of the Santa Alianza foundation of Bogotá was very important so 38 specialist doctors in general medicine, optometry, dentistry, pediatrics, gynecology among other services served people.
On the other hand, Captain Paz (the mascot of the FAC) worked in the place to bring a moment of joy to the more than 100 children who were in the place and, with playful activities, the young people and children of the place lived a different day thanks to the different donations such as dental cleaning kits, sports uniforms, school kits, clothes and interactive games.
The Colombian Air Force contributes to and support these activities to be a fundamental factor that aims to serve Colombians; in this way, thanks to the joint work with the National Navy and inter agency with the Mayor's Office of Solano, troops work day by day creating strategies that aim to give well-being to the inhabitants of Caquetá.
