About 1,500 people benefited from general medical services, legal advice and recreational games.
With the aim of strengthening partnership ties with the communities of the north of the country, the National Army with the Police, the Municipal Mayor's Office of Uribia and the FUGENCO Foundation, carried out a Development Support Activity in the urban area of Uribia, in the department of La Guajira, which benefited about 1,500 people.
The activity led by the Fe en Colombia Program of the National Army, the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Tenth Brigade and the Wayuu IPS (health service institution), provided attendees with general medicine, psychology, optometry, vaccination, physiotherapy services and sexual and mental health courses.
During the event, soldiers of the Comprehensive Action Battalion No.1, carried out playful and sports games with the children and adolescents of the sector.
It is planned that these activities will continue to be carried out in other municipalities of La Guajira, with the purpose of providing families with well-being and healthy leisure spaces.
