As part of the operation against drug trafficking, a vehicle with 143 kilograms of coca paste was intercepted; in the same way marijuana was to be distributed in the criminal micro-trafficking networks of the south of the country.

The criminals, in their eagerness to disorient the authorities, would have tried to hide the cargo in food for dogs, but thanks to the expertise of the military and police officers it was discovered.
The second incident occurred at the checkpoint on the Las Garzas sector, of the municipality of Florencia, Caquetá, where after the inspection carried out on a vehicle and thanks to the use of a trained dog, several packages were detected in the upper part of the vehicle, on a double tent. Finally, 143 kilos of coca paste base were found by troops at kilometer 65, on the road that leads from Florencia to the municipality of Suaza, Huila, which were hidden in a van.
