19 people, including 13 Colombians and 6 Panamanian citizens were arrested.
Expropriation on 61 goods for a cost exceeding 30 billion pesos.
This criminal organization had the capacity to stockpile up to five tons of cocaine hydrochloride.
In Buenaventura, Cali, Jamundí and Medellín, the Colombian Navy, during a combined, coordinated and inter-institutional operation with the Attorney General's Office and Panamanian authorities, arrested 13 individuals for the alleged crimes of trafficking, manufacture or carrying of narcotics aggravated, money laundering and association to commit aggravated crimes. In the same way, the Panamanian authorities arrested six individuals who are members of a criminal organization, who will be charged with the crimes of conspiracy, drug trafficking and corruption of a public official.
According to the information provided by the authorities, this criminal organization at the service of the international drug trade, was under the direction of Faustino Reina Bravo, known as El Profe, maximum head that was arrested during the operation in Medellin, who was in charge of sending large quantities of cocaine hydrochloride to countries of Central and north America by using submarines, as well as the construction and improvement of these naval devices through the acquisition of engines, navigational instruments and the materials necessary for their construction.
In the same way, the Panamanian authorities arrested the ringleader Humberto Reina, who was in charge of the coordination of narcotics trafficking between Colombia and Panama, establishing a channel with transnational organizations in Costa Rica and Mexico.
This criminal organization was in charge of verifying the collection points of narcotics on the coast of the department of Nariño and then assembling and loading the semi-submarines with narcotics, paying large amounts of money to dissident groups of the FARC to provide them with security in the South Pacific region and also to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo for the same purposes in the North Pacific.
