More than 100 growers work to provide and sale their products brought from the countryside to the city.
In a coordinated work, our soldiers of the National Army, the mayors through their Secretariats of Economic Development and the growers of Norte de Santander, made two peasant markets activities in the municipalities of Pamplona and Ocaña.
The objective of these activities is to encourage marketing in the territory, in addition, to support small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the region, who bring their products from where they are grown daily, to the city, to expose and sell them to the inhabitants and tourists.
The National Army makes logistical support available to the peasants, such as transportation for food, labor to pack the products, and accompaniment in recreational activities during the peasant activity.
Activities such as these contribute to the strengthening of the countryside, the economic reactivation and reaffirms the inter-institutional commitment to work for Norte de Santander.
