On August 7, on the cold and rustic Boyacá Bridge, the definitive freedom for Colombia was sealed and institutionalized as a date to remember the exploits and glories of the National Army, a recognition of the dedication, sacrifice, courage, perseverance, honor and glory of the soldiers.
This Friday, August 05 and Sunday, August 07, the Ninth Brigade accompanied by the Huilense people will hold commemorative events to pay tribute to the heroes of yesterday, today and always, the soldiers of Colombia, worthy legatees of the heroes of independence.
On Friday the appointment is at 4:00 pm in the parades field of the Military base in Neiva, Huila, there will be a ceremony and decorations will be granted to exalt officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers who have given everything to ensure the fulfillment of the mission.
On Sunday the celebration will move to the south of Neiva, at 09:00 am the programming begins with a parade on South 26th Street with carrera 20 and culminates with a military parade at the Unicentro shopping center.
It is noteworthy that from Monday, July 25 and until August 6, our men and women of the glorious National Army are doing work in the shopping centers of the Huilense capital city, showing the inhabitants all their potential to safeguard security and regional progress.
